Saving the Voice of the Ghetto

Ukrainian Creative Stories 2024

The project I created content for “Saving the Voice of the Ghetto” for the POLIN Museum, won 4 awards (out of 4 submissions), including Best of Contest! The international jury evaluated over 900 entries from 19 countries around the world.

Project description: To preserve Holocaust memories after survivors are gone, the POLIN Museum created an AI voice of Stella Fidelseid, based on her 1997 recording. This synthetic voice captures her emotions, recounting her Warsaw Ghetto Uprising memories for the first time. The story was shared on a dedicated page, promoted in the former ghetto area, and became the museum’s most popular exhibit with 136,000 visitors. It garnered
150 articles and 5 million social media views. Praised by ElevenLabs, the voice was also affirmed by Stella’s granddaughter as a true likeness.
